Senior technical writer/editor in biotech/pharma.Since 2009, I have worked as a technical writer in the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2015, I have focused on R&D process documentation in biotech (Amgen, Gilead, Genentech, Seagen, & Pfizer), documenting, editing, and/or fine-tuning process documentation (QMS, QDMS systems, SOPs, forms, & work instructions) and pharmaceutical equipment and/or software documentation (user guides, service manuals, engineering specifications/drawings). During my year at Genentech, I worked in the R&D IT space developing work instructions, PowerPoint training slides, and a user guide for medical imaging software, data storage, and analysis.Prior to my shift into pharma, I worked in a variety of fields, including in logistics & fulfillment. At Moulton Logistics, I wrote a user guide for the shipping software, trained shipping operators, conducted a problem-solving investigation for 3000 international orders, shipping all but 12 undeliverable orders in my first 90 days, and set up a QC department on the shipping floor. I have also worked in the fields of investment management, accounting, payroll, administrative support, computer hardware, and software support. I love a good challenge! I thrive on excelling in every position I find myself in, and I take a great deal of satisfaction in troubleshooting problems and creating efficiencies.
