I founded Rise Project Consulting (Rise PC) in 2018 to bring new technology to innovate how construction projects are managed to make them safer, quicker and more cost effective. Rise specialises in photogrammetry; digital twinning; 3D scanning; 3D modelling; 3D printing; drone and ROV inspections; VR and AR. Since we were established we have won innovation awards for our work with drones and underwater ROV. Rise PC combines extensive construction expertise and digital modelling capability with new technology to develop virtual spaces that can be visited, inspected and assessed from anywhere in the world.

I was responsible for the project management of residential, commercial and civil construction projects ranging in size from custom residential houses to large commercial fit-outs. I was responsible for: writing and preparing tender responses; estimating; monitoring and management of budgets; client relationship management; negotiating, awarding and managing sub-contractor agreements; development, monitoring and management of project programs; developing, implementing, managing and monitoring risk assessment and management of policies and procedures; research, development and implementation of internal processes and systems. Projects included: Beachfront Hotel, Rorkes Bar, Browns Mart, numerous custom design and construct residential homes, remote community works, NTG tenders. I was initially engaged by M+J Builders as a contractor under my business SG Management, and in July 2017 became a full-time employee.

I was responsible for the negotiation, procurement, award and management of sub-contract packages on the project. I also created, developed and implemented cost control and reporting systems and processes for the project.

I was relocated to Darwin in 2009 to be Senior Contracts Administrator on the Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Program (SIHIP) projects. I was responsible for negotiation, procurement, award and management of sub-contract packages; estimating and providing tender responses; financial and program management, monitoring and reporting. I worked in remote communities across the Northern Territory on projects range in value from $5m to $125m.
