Among us were three founders, a designer, two software engineers, and a versatile software engineering intern who laid the foundation of our codebase: Victor Even at that early stage, Victor had already developed both the patient app and the medical team app, enabling seamless connections through chat and video—a remarkable feat. While completing his B.S.Eng. degree at McGill University, Victor worked part-time at Dialogue until December 2017, when he graduated and joined full-time. We collaborated closely, building the Dialogue platform piece by piece, growing the company, and nurturing a culture rooted in humility, continuous learning, and a deep passion for well-crafted products. Victor quickly became the go-to person across many areas. His technical expertise spanned every facet of distributed applications. On the product side, his impact-driven mindset led to innovative solutions that directly addressed user pain points. Culturally, Victor was a pillar at Dialogue—the kind of person everyone wanted to work with. He embodied the qualities we cherished: kindness, humility, passion, approachability, and vast knowledge. As if that weren't impressive enough, his individual contributions were executed with flawless precision and remarkable speed. To say Victor was a legendary figure at Dialogue would be an understatement. He is among the top 1% of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I truly hope our paths cross again, and we get the chance to work together in the future."
