I am a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in wildlife and fisheries biology in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation at Clemson University. I am generally interested in research questions related to the spatial ecology of wildlife populations and communities. My research projects have generally involved examining anthropogenic drivers of change in wildlife populations and communities. With my research I aim to help provide a scientific foundation for conservation management decisions.I am currently a research assistant in the South Carolina Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at Clemson University. My current research involves taking quantitative approaches to upland game bird conservation in Kansas. My past research projects include examining the spatial and temporal variation of soundscapes, identifying the effects of anthropogenic noise disturbance on the structure of soundscapes as well as on avian vocalization and behavior, and assessing detection probability, abundance, and diversity of avian species in different habitats.
