Hired, trained, and coached all drivers and dispatcher(s) to achieve safe and efficient transport and excellent customer service of clients. I was recognized for successful design and implementation of policies and procedures and operations handbook for department. I ensured DOT compliance with drug & alcohol testing; vehicle safety maintenance and tracking; driver logs and training. I was responsible for vehicle procurement. Successfully implemented budgets and maintained all services within budget limits. Each year under my management there were annual increases of both productivity and service. Other duties included payroll, daily; monthly; and annual tracking of statistics for services provided, monthly and annual reports compiled for Board of Trustees, and conducted research at other transportation locations to obtain ideas for continued improvement of services provided. Also provided staff IT supported on all staff computers. I also filled in as driver as needed.
