In the realm of trauma-informed education I have consulted with districts ranging in size from 30 students to 30,000 students. Project EVERS is a federal Project Prevent Grant Program serving the 19 member-districts of NKESC. EVERS is designed to decrease violence, increase student engagement, and increase student and family connection to mental health services by helping classrooms, schools, and communities become more trauma-informed. As a Trauma Specialist I provide virtual and in-person trauma-informed consulting services and training to districts with an emphasis on educator and student growth and well-being. As Project Director I manage staff and lead all aspects of the program.The Kansas Department of Corrections Grant-funded TIRC Program provides trauma-processing services to justice-involved youth and their parents in the three judicial districts comprising the seventeen counties of Northwest Kansas through facilitated peer groups, transportation services, group excursions, and individual services. I assisted in developing the program and writing associated grants, and as Program Coordinator I am responsible for coordination, oversight, and evaluation of all staff and services.

Mick’s Minute is a short, weekly multi-format radio program that can be heard on various radio stations throughout Nebraska and South Dakota. As the sole writer and producer of the show and developer and administrator of the website, Mick’s Minute has helped me to refine my communication skills within the spectrum of a very unique medium and has proven to be an effective method of communicating an important message.

As Senior Pastor of the Ainsworth Evangelical Free Church I provided visionary leadership and hands-on service in all levels of the organization, executive leadership to both paid staff and volunteers, and served individuals in our community and around the world.

As a Ministry Advocate at Dare 2 Share my job was reaching and resourcing hundreds of student ministries from a distance while developing, coordinating and overseeing in-person training events.
