Monitoring, Reporting & Controlling the Centre DDU GKY projectDeen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is the skilling and placement initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India. The scheme focuses on catering to the occupational aspirations of rural youth and enhancing their skills for wage employment.Rural youth primarily from BPL category and within age group of 18-35 years are trained as per Qualification Packs designed by various sector skill council approved by NSDC. The trained candidates are assessed by NSDC /NCVT approved assessment agencies and then placed in industries.MPTA Education Ltd has been selected by MoRD as one of the Project Implementing Agencies (PIA). MPTA is working in seven states on this Project. MPTA aims at providing Training and Employment to more than 15000 rural youths in next three years through DDU-GKY scheme.
