Pet911 is a mobile-first Russian website founded in 2017, aimed at reuniting lost pets with their owners. I was connected with Pet911 through Springboards UX/UI bootcamp program to gain experience working with clients. I worked with two other designers from Springboard to help Pet911 expand their user base by redesigning their lost and found pet listing.

As a bicycle mechanic I used creative problem solving skills to diagnose and fix customer's bicycles. I would also learn about new cycling products being introduced to the market and how to service them. Other daily tasks included writing up service tickets and contacting customers about their bicycles.

While working the front desk I was the first face a customer saw when they walked into Bicycle Therapy and it was up to me to help make their experiences enjoyable and successful. By talking and empathizing with customers I could discern what they are looking for and whether it was help with a mechanical issue, finding the right accessory or buying a new.

As an organizer for FWOD, a social Bicycle Group for Women, Trans and Non-Binary People, I coordinated and promoted weekly cycling meetups and rides. I also worked with a group of members to organize fundraiser events, and would secure venues and donations. In addition I created promotional materials and helped to run the social media account

At Sparrow Cycling I was part of a worker-owned collective where we delievered food and packages across Philadelphia. While working we would create our own delivery routes while in contact with a dispatcher who would give us pick up and drop off locations.

I worked with a group of enthusiastic teachers in different creative fields to create a collaborative educational experience for children. I also designed visual art lesson plans which I taught to students age 2-5, and adapted based on the specific needs of the students.

At Better Than Jam I assisted the owner with screen printing jobs and class setup. I helped to maintain the boutique and shop and worked as cashier in exchange for studio time.

As a sales associate at Riverdel my role was to work with customers to help create an ejoyable shopping experience. I would talk to customers to understand what they were looking for and direct them products that would satisfy their requests, as well as explain in detail what our products had to offer. At the Lower East Side Printshop I learned different printmaking techniques in order to assist the Master Printer in handprinting commissioned works. I would also help prepare the work space and touch up prints. I worked with other interns to perform general shop maintenance and various organizational tasks.
