Such pieces fall under a… Show more As a professional artist and craftsman, I specialize in rare one of a kind wood collectibles that reflect the American/ European maritime in a way that has never before been visualized -embracing the motto "different with a unique approach".I make every effort to produce thought-provoking works that pull the viewer to it...Yet, timeless pieces that awaken the spirit and embrace the soul. My focal points are centered on historical accuracy, coupled with research. Such pieces fall under a broad range of genre such as fine paintings and drawings -including illustrations. Two dimensional work such as themed-based shadowboxes which feature equine subjects and maritime. And finally, three dimensional work which concentrate on dioramas, wood sculpture, shipmodels and shipmodel miniatures.Another area of importance for both museum and collector have been my much-heralded steamboat models -primarily Hudson River/ New England types. I have been on the circuit with these since 1982 and have been classified an expert and authority in the build and research of these rare and collectible works.At best, this is only a partial summation of what I do as an artist/ craftsman. As Artist/Illustrator I was assigned to contribute to the hospital newsletter with featured drawings to support various fundraisers. I also designed cover presentations for events that involved the hospital in conjunction to cultural events. A few works were also commissioned by the Albany Medical College with the hospital sponsorship.
