Reyne Dial’s specialised experience and continued in-depth navigation of the Western Australian strategic and statutory planning landscape make him a formidable addition to the Place Development Australia team. Following former roles at ABN’s Parcel Property and nine years with the well-respected Rowe Group, he is well-aligned with Place Development’s broader multi-disciplinary team in his drive, motivation and ongoing ambition to deliver complex and aspirational property assets across our State. Reyne brings comprehensive urban design experience alongside the valued aptitude to work through strategic and statutory land use planning, regularly overseeing the statutory approvals process from the initial design phase through to final implementation. This includes working through the conceptual design and approvals phase of Structure Plans, Local Development Plans, Subdivision Applications and also statutory processes such as Scheme Amendments and Development Applications. Reyne has secured a number of major planning approvals in Western Australia during his career, including the Iconic Scarborough development (43-storey residential apartments, hotel, conference centre and food and beverage) and the Aloft Hotel, Rivervale (224-room hotel and office). He has been a vital contributor to the success of the 66ha Kennedy Bay masterplanned community to date and will continue progressing this aspirational project via his in-house Place Development role, all while bringing planning expertise to the full portfolio of projects. Reyne is driven by high quality outcomes and is a passionate advocate for good design. He seeks to achieve this through early engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure the vision for the project is maintained from the initial inception stage through to final delivery. Reyne holds a Bachelor of Planning from Edith Cowan University.
