As a Sales Engineer, I work in conjunction with the sales team and serve as the primary technical advisor of Idera products for the Latin America region.

Provides customers and National Accounts Managers with technical product advice and support during pre-sales discussions. Solve complex sales support problems. Help develop strategies and requirements for Partner Programs in Latin America. Prepares and performs detailed product demonstrations and product prototypes for prospects. Provide installation support, post-sales consulting and technical training.

Responsible for the delivery of both technical and non-technical training, off and onsite. This includes maintaining classroom environments as well as managing workflow for the classes. The scope of the role also includes setup of class environment, software, network and Vmware systems. Responsibilities include:• Delivering training courses for technical and non-technical audiences, including systems administrators, technical support staff, implementation management.• Determine customers’ training needs, then writing training plans based on those needs• Present at BMC’s Executive Briefing Center to CIO, CTO, VP’s and Technical Managers• Classes include: BMC Performance Management (PATROL) , BMC Performance Management Portal, PATROL Agent WebCourse, ITIL Foundation Course

Ensure that the Enterprise Data Management Business Unit's objective, strategies, and planning are effectively executed in the Latin American and Canadian Region by driving revenue through field Sales Force (BMC Offices and Partners in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina). Reporting directly to Regional VP. Focus on communicating and executing the sales and marketing strategy in the field Assist executive management with the collection and consolidation of forecast, pipeline, and win/loss data. Provide expertise on the Business Unit solutions and products. Provide technical dimension on sales team by participating in sales calls, conducting presentations, seminars, demos & Proof Of Concepts with BMC direct and partner sales. Collect business and technical information from client regarding requirements. Research, compose and deliver responses to RFPs. Provided demonstrations and presentations for BMC Seminars, Forums and Tradeshows. Supporting the USA and Latin American BMC Partners.

Reviewed, analyzed, and evaluated information technology systems operations.
