Assisted Vulcan customers with IT support, provided extensive round-the-clock help for network licensing to the large Maptek clients with remote operations.Key Accomplishments:• Designed in a team with a company grade control geologist the hybrid short range/long range ore control system for improved short range planning at Canadian Iron Ore operation, which improved grade conformance to the plan from 83% in 2009 to 91% in 2010.• Managed the integration of Vulcan software the at corporate office and on-site; assisted on-site with geologic interpretation, depth of mining / minimum bitumen thickness optimizations, dump and tailings pond designs for oil sands company in Alberta, Canada.• Trained new Technical Services engineers and geologists to become Customer Service professionals, to use software, to provide technical support to the clients, log issues and track resolution using Entellium CRM system.
