Provide vision, direction and program management to QIP and other Value Based Care program technical and performance improvement initiative teams, with a specific focus on data analytics for population health, and an overall goal of delivery system transformation and integration. Lead technical workgroups; manage the data development life cycle with information systems (IS) analysts, healthcare analysts, program coordinators, and clinical subject matter experts; provide leadership in overseeing improvements in data analytics processes.Manage the programmatic aspects QIP including: provide oversight and management of QIP project teams in the use of LEAN and quality improvement (QI) methodologies to drive performance improvement in priority metrics, lead communication and engagement strategy with diverse stakeholders across SFHN and external organizations, and manage the deliverables for SFHN's value-based payment programs. Lead initiatives for creating bi-directional data sharing between health plans and SFHN, as well as oversee audit activities required for quality metric reporting. Main SFHN representative to external partners and collaborate with the California Association of Public Hospitals Safety Net Institute (CAPH/SNI) and California Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) to advance the value-base care strategy.

Manage the programmatic and data analytics aspects of the SFHN PRIME (Public Hospital Redesign and Incentives in MediCal) program, Medicaid Managed Care Rule QIP (Quality Incentive Program), and other value-based payment programs across SFHN. PRIME is the current Medicaid waiver’s 5 year, $32 million a year, pay-for performance program involving 10 initiatives encompassing 57 measures, involving more than 100 team members across SFHNQIP is a new $20 million a year value-based program tied to 20 measures across 4 domains (primary care, specialty care, inpatient care, and resource utilization)
