I have 23+ years creating magical consumer experiences at various retail locations throughout Texas. I was a supervisor with Lowe's Home Improvement for 6 years increasing sales in the departments I was over. I eventually switched over to the Home Depot and helped build their sales and customer service scores in the same departments I worked at in Lowes. My knowledge with construction and fabrication helped with future career plans and in 2013 I became a professional costumed performer and costume fabricator by competing in a contest at a Houston Convention and won Best Craftsmanship and Best In Show for the costume I had constructed in my home garage. I travelled throughout Texas to various cities as a guest at festivals, tradeshows and conventions and became a guest judge at other costume contests. I started an AAS degree at Tarrant County Community College for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management and finished that degree in 2021, along with an AAS in Business Administration - Fashion Merchandising. I am currently working on a BAS in Consumer Experience Management with an Interdisciplinary focus on Marketing with a graduation date of Spring 2024. I have been promoted to Floor/Store Manager at Magic Etc. Fort Worth Costume for my knowledge in the costume industry and dedication to the consumer experience and customer service in a retail store layout.
