AFPM is the leading trade association representing the makers of the fuels that keep us moving, the petrochemicals that are the essential building blocks for modern life and the midstream companies that get our feedstocks and products where they need to go.As Vice President of Petrochemicals and Midstream, Rob leads the AFPM's Petrochemical and Midstream practices. As member of the AFPM's senior leadership team Rob develops association policy and engagement strategies on legislative and regulatory matters related to petrochemicals, midstream, and the circular economy. With almost two decades in Washington D.C., Rob has developed and maintains strong relationships with regulatory agencies, Congress, and the White House and is able to provide members with insight into how federal policies will impact their companies. Recently, Rob has led AFPM's engagement on the United Nations global agreement on plastic pollution. Rob is a highly respected, results-oriented leader with almost two decades of federal government and industry trade association experience. Rob uses his leadership experience, strategic management skills, advanced communication abilities, and extensive knowledge of energy, chemical and supply chain policy to advocate for safe, sustainable, and data-driven solutions. Rob is also a recognized expert in his field and his work has been regularly featured in a variety of outlets, including CNN, NBC, NPR, Bloomberg, AP, the Hill and many other outlets.
