-Manage production schedules and budgets for approximately 50-60 projects per season from manuscript delivery through project close-Review and evaluate manuscripts to determine the level of editing needed-Manage and schedule all freelance work to copy editors and proofreaders and review and evaluate their work-Resolve editorial and author queries and production issues-Coordinate with various departments such as marketing and publicity to ensure they receive necessary materials on time-Manage illustrator contracts to ensure prompt release of payments and field questions between in-house art directors and freelancers-Provide training and onboarding for new hires to build team knowledge and determine where improvements to processes can be implemented
