Vehicle Test Group: Supporting for activities and testing.Test Track coordinator responsibilities: • Model S driver’s trainer, Code of Conduct, Vehicle Behaviors and behind the wheel. • Provides safety, and driver training for all test track drivers for driver certification. • Provides support for special vehicle testing and general events. Manage Facilities Maintenance, schedule with contractors for improvements, creating new specialty surfaces for testing at the test track and maintenance of the testing surfaces.

This position is responsible for working closely with production, engineering, and service to support implementation of vehicle quality systems and completion of final vehicle audits, drive evaluations, incoming inspection, final inspection, issue entry, and data review. In addition, the reactive element of this position will include tracking and data collection for corrective actions, and confirmation of defect closure for vehicle release. Complete incoming and final vehicle inspections. Audit production against released quality and manufacturing processes and procedures. Support data collection and provide proactive feedback to cross functional team. Work with production to streamline strategies in support of vehicle inspection and repair. Identify issues for correction to minimize vehicle rework and improve production process. Identify supplier quality issues and notify SQA. Inspection/verification of incoming material when necessary and identify material rework for final assembly as required. Track and update database with required vehicle defects. Communicate significant issues daily. Communicate Pareto data regularly. Communicate and track vehicle GCA data. Provide data input and output reports to assist in quality improvement activities. Provide mechanical measurement support to identify or solve potential vehicle issues. Work with Quality Engineering to solve problems and improve product quality. Assist in the identification and resolution of vehicle quality issues.
