My current assignment is at the McKesson Medical-Surgical Distribution Center in Grapevine, TX as their onsite IT Support Specialist in which I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the network and support of all networked devices, production line printers, shipping scales, and administering their Honeywell Security camera server. I also work with the TATA remote NOC team supporting the following software and technologies: Microsoft 365 Cloud administration, Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2008-2016 (AD, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Server, Hyper-V), ServiceNow Service Management, OKTA, and PC/Laptop and Apple hardware and software support, and hardware repair.

Assisted upper management by overseeing new IT employee interviewing, hiring, and training. Managed all the internal IT infrastructure, IT help desk operations, and highly proficient in all versions of Windows and Server operating systems, SonicWall firewall management, and Dell and Cisco switch management. I also worked with the IT team to implement a new ERP enterprise system.

Worked in tandem with the IT department of VGT’s HQ in Tennessee to find solutions to various IT problems between Corporate IT and the Gaming Studio in Reno, maintained the day-to-day operations of the Studio, managing 40+ network servers and workstations. Integrated and supported Apple MAC OS X (10.8 to 10.10) operating systems. Also provided expert support with Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Windows 7 and 8 operating systems.

Oversaw the day-to-day operations of the computer network and classroom environments at 6 locations throughout Southern California, which included hardware/software support, managing 50+ network servers via Microsoft Hyper-V, installing and supporting Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012, Windows 7 and 8 operating systems, and supporting telecommunications equipment. Management of 200+ computers in classrooms via Remote Desktop and Symantec Ghost Server. As a Mentor I was responsible for teaching, managing and maintaining a class of up to 20 students.

Oversaw the day-to-day operations of the court network including hardware/software support, managing 20+ network servers via VMWare vSphere 6.0, administration of ISD – ICMS Court Case Management System, integration and support of Apple MAC OS X Lion systems within a Windows environment, managing the Court’s website and development with Adobe CS5 Web Premium. As a member of the Court’s management team I was in charge of a project in which the Superior Court was moving their operations to a new state of the art building, the implementation of a new Windows 2008 Active Directory network, installation and migration to a new VMWare virtual infrastructure, deployment of a Citrix Provisioning Services network which included a thin client solution, and the implementation of a new security system at both court locations in Mono County.

Oversaw IT operations across two states, in Texas 35 locations and in Georgia 40 locations. Resolved critical personnel issues within the IT Department, such as high employee turnover, customer dissatisfaction, and lack of organizational structure. Implemented new policies and procedures for the organization, including those pertaining to human resources, and the management of the IT budget.
