Accompanied a Publisher on a multi-day planning meeting in the USA. - Prepared text and cover briefs taking into account market, competition and structure of the content.- Improved author compliance by improving briefing processes and establishing new editor guidelines. - Improved working practices by implementing a feedback programme, workflow calendars and project evaluation forms. - Dealt with multimedia aspects of publications ensuring that online content was clearly highlighted and fitted the uses of the audience. Alongside colleagues, set up and ran an ebook workshop to improve the department’s practical assessment of digital content.
