Founded a professional services company that provides Federal financial/contract management, provides notarial services (i.e., mobile and loan signing agent), provides quantitative market research data, and provides travel arrangement plans/services for clients.

Conduct billing operational work to maximize the effectiveness, accuracy and delivery of billing information. Develop and implement billing solutions for Federal Government Customers. Perform data analysis and trending for defined key elements that impact issues to highlight root cause and billing impacts. Present monthly reports and analysis for internal customers to ensure compensation accuracy for their revenue totaling more than $6M annually. Provide revenue and contract data to sales/program teams that has led to identifying gaps which are being addressed.

Prepared required journal entries totaling $13.5M to ensure revenue was properly accrued. Reviewed Defense/Networx revenue results with AGS-controllers and senior management. Gathered, interpreted, and evaluated financial information for monthly calls with Product House-Controllers to review Government revenue variance. Partnered with operations team to provide accurate and timely variance analysis of Defense/Networx revenue. Worked with team members inside and outside my group to define and establish processes to ensure revenue is properly billed.

Managed the Defense team’s $116-250M revenue and expense budgets on behalf of the Vice President of Defense Markets. Achieved 108% of revenue target, and the outlook performance was within +/- 2% of submission. Partnered with the Business Planning team to develop and analyze annual financial budgets and five-year forecasts for the government defense business segment. Ensured the program teams operationalized their corporate revenue and expense targets. Coordinated directorate in reducing costs to obtain $1M 3Q budget reduction. Evaluated and reported P&L exposure to senior management. Advised on the financial implications of various business strategies, issues and alternatives. Analyzed monthly operating expenditures to identify significant variances to plan, forecast and/or outlook. Evaluated root cause of variances and recommended accrual strategies. Analyzed and prepared monthly and annual, consolidated financial/management reports and executive presentations.

Developed and managed budgeting and forecasting activities for two districts that totaled $65M in revenues. Presented contract financial status to customers as well as company directors.
