Assistant DirectorAtascosa Family Crisis Center Sep 2017 - Aug 2018Pleasanton, TexasThe Assistant Director in collaboration with the Executive Director of AFCC will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of the agency mission. This position will provide assistance in supervising and managing staff, clerical and admin duties, writing and reviewing policies and procedures, and developing strategies. This position is also asked to provide peer counseling to domestic violence victims, monitor and respond to the 24-hour crisis hotline, and provide culturally competent general crisis services including transportation and appropriate referrals. This position assists with monthly and quarterly financial and grant reports, as well as data entry and collection of reports. The Assistant Director works in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to develop and implement strategic and development goals for the Atascosa Family Crisis Center, Inc. (AFCC). Reporting to the Executive Director, this is a half-time position, and general office hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am -5:00 pm. However, this position may occasionally require long work hours and weekend work.
