Consumer Lending

-Concurrently served as Education Lending Manager/Senior Manager of University Relations through wind-down of education lending program in 2010. Was responsible for oversight and operations of Education Lending staff as well as strategy, product development, marketing/business development for large education lending operation. Funded and managed over $120 million per year loan volume. -Developed and maintained critical relationships with colleges and universities -Created marketing and business development plans for annual education loan campaigns-Maintained secondary market relationships, negotiated loan purchase agreements, and oversaw monthly and annual loan sales responsible for generating interest and non-interest income-Coached, developed, and lead team of education loan professionals to ensure quality service standards exceed expectations of schools/studentsACHIEVEMENTS/AWARDS:-Grew education loan portfolio from $35MM/year to over $120MM/year to over $1B in loans funded-Managed secondary market relationships and sales of over $1B in loans to the secondary market-Served on US Department of Education Negotiated Rulemaking Committee (alternate, with USC CU) for Federal Family Education Loan Programs to draft federal legislative changes to the program-Managed and oversaw the wind-down and selling of all education loans to the US Department of Education with no major problems and with no disruption to students or schools
