Founding member of the Biopod Project, a research project funded by the RISD Somerson Sustainability Innovation Fund. Created floating biodegradeable pods which purify water in Providence, RI. Personally responsible for all graphic output, including brand identity, exhibit design, and posters. Also in charge of project outreach, building relationships with community partners, local media, and local government.

Developed an independently-led harm reduction design project, in which the goal was to create a website to allow opioid users easier access in locating safe injection sites in the NYC area. Project concept, scope, design work, and delivery was entirely self—started and led. Also assisted on client projects for Google Creative Lab, Google Search, & Formula 1.

Working as a Peer Tutor at Co-Works, RISD’s only department-neutral lab for interdisciplinary research and making with emerging technologies. Responsibilities include mentoring students & faculty with projects and calibrating, tending, and operating a number of high-end machines including:- Laser cutters- UV printers- 3D printers, both SLA & ABS- Vacuum formers- Digital embroiderers- Vinyl cutters and pen plotters

Designed a framework for head—mounted 3D sound board prototyping for the engineering team’s early product concepts. The system including several 3D printed components and an adjustable series of rails to hold the boards on the user’s head. Responsibilities included prototyping the system, fabricating it, and creating a user manual for the engineering team.

With my team, conceptualized and designed a cooking tutorial website tailored to assisting young adults with Intellectual Disabilities gain increased independence while promoting integration with the general population. Key themes included avoiding “otherizing” and aiming for equality.

San Francisco Bay Area

Designed, shot, and edited 4 tutorial videos for the Hero 6 camera line, to be showcased on GoPro’s official site. Contributed working edits towards the 2018 GoPro Hero 7 Launch video and POP (Point of Purchase).
