Rhys Hicks is a User Researcher at Dotmatics. Colleagues describe them as "I worked closely with Rhys in his roles as Manual Tester and UX Researcher. Rhys was, right from the start, a key stakeholder of mine: he was my sounding board. His first hand experience of Ops processes was hugely beneficial when building out our Digital journeys. He is a customer champion, knowing first hand the pain points customers experienced and how we could resolve these. In his role of Manual Tester, Rhys was our final layer of defence before the product landed in customers hands. His calm and thorough approach gave me confidence in the quality of the product we were releasing. In his role as UX Researcher, Rhys is able to collate large quantities of data and insight and present this in a clear and methodical way. His approach ensures we focus on the important insights, and ultimately agree an appropriate outcome. For me, one of the things I valued most about working with Rhys was his support when things weren’t plain sailing. He is incredibly flexible, he’ll do what needs to be done to get things back on track. More than anything, Rhys is just a great guy. He lifts the spirit in any room, he has a unique way of making anyone feel comfortable. This makes him hugely effective in his role as UX Researcher when building rapport with customers but also makes him a hugely important team member.
