Recent graduate in Applied Sports and Exercise Physiology with an academic background in Sports and Exercise Science. I have great interest in facilitating optimal physical performance and maximising training effects in team sports. Reading into the mechanisms behind ergogenic aids was a particular interest over my 4 years in tertiary education, and thusly, I completed an individual project assessing the use of Kinesio-tape and compression garments on potential performance. The experience of which, enabled me to develop novel ideas during the inception of the study whilst applying critical thought into what would create the best results. Over the projects, I developed problem solving and time management skills, setting out progressive goals for section completion to ensure I had adequate time for writing up the project. I am an avid sports fan actively participating and watching a wide variety of sport all my life, the team sport environment is one that I feel comfortable in. Most likely, it is this reason I have enjoyed all placements I have undertaken.In future, I wish to build upon my skills through in a team sport environment, working towards BASES Accreditation and attaining level 1 in ISAK body composition assessment.
