During my Ph.D., we investigated health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and well-being profiles of Dutch older adults, when faced with specific disease profiles. During my engagements with the older adults respondents and fellow researchers, this relevant and interesting topic taught me a lot about the needs of the older adults and the factors influencing overall well-being.With the help and guidance of my mentors and peers, I was able to publish our findings in reputable journals: BMC Geriatrics, BMC Health Services Research, and Patient Preference And Adherence. -
