Worked on due diligence, business planning and funding structure design for amongst others deals in financial services, large scale property developments, engineering and manufacturing concerns, transport companies, brokerage businesses and a number of collective investment schemes. Deals included the evaluation of start-ups, acquisition of existing businesses, disposal of existing investments, optimising and work-out situations for existing investments and consulting to external clients on deal structures, legal structures and funding structures. I also served as a manager of these investments on behalf of the Group. I was also the lead in arranging finance from local and international financiers.

I created a commercial property portal with all major commercial property companies in South Africa as subscribers (see Partners on www.eprop.co.za). Responsible for all aspects of business execution including strategy, technical, sales, media, HR, finance, business process.- Secured industry endorsement and buy-in from key industry players. - Created the eProp business unit and led this business from start-up to profitability including all aspects of daily management. Turned around original spend on failed initiative and set in place mechanisms to recoup investor’s outlay. - Removed a competitor from the market, through innovation and market strategy.- Created a marketplace with more than 40,000 subscribers and 70,000 regular users. - Executed public marketing strategy.- Launched new products in research, subscription revenues and a new unit focused on online commercial property auctions.- Developed all solutions (technical implementation)
