Spent 14 hr/week to design a career assessment tool for high school students in India. This includes:- Adaptation of western tests such as OCEAN and RIASEC to the Indian context by constructing items in keeping mind the cultural difference.- Review of literature with respect to the different elements of the test- Report writing.

Led my team in organizing multiple events and a podcast series catering to the academic and professional development of the psychology community at UBC. This includes:• Conducting weekly meetings to work on ideation and allocation of tasks amongst team members. • Working on administrative tasks such as the creation of the script, rsvp forms, presentation slides etc• Hosting the event. Conducted research on potential panellists, concept note and organizations, in order to increase awareness about the rights of Indians with mental illness, as well as knowledge about mental health resources through non-specialized healthcare workers.

Raised more than 10000$ for different campaigns organized by UBC (Blue and Gold, faculty-specific scholarships), specifically targeting new donors, with an average of 200$ per donation.Consistently established a strong connection over the phone in ten minutes, which made me the new student caller with the highest funds raised in the first two weeks of appointment.Mentored new callers, by sharing strategies for getting their first donations and supported the growth of other callers by working as a team and sharing strategies to handle difficult situations over the phone, which increased overall money raised at the end of the shift.

Chosen to represent the position from 170 applicants. Enhanced student learning by designing a new course on canvas, on the co-op work permit, within two weeks, which increased outreach to thousands of students. Designed pages, padlets, and surveys for courses that cover areas related to immigration, health insurance, employment and cultural transitions. Each of these courses supports more than 500 incoming international students each year.Presented workshops to 250 incoming graduate students from all across the globe on topics related to Banking and Phone services in Canada, to help support the cultural transition.

Created a space for ongoing, relevant, and facilitated discussion during the meeting on projects such as Integral Renewal program, food insecurity, that will impact students for years to come.Selected to be a selection committee member, to choose students for the most prestigious scholarships at UBC- Premier Undergraduate and Wesbrook Scholarships.Exercised attention to detail and critical thinking, in order to be able to choose the best 30 from 92 applications, from a range of very well-deserving students, which resulted in most of my top 30 members becoming recipients of the awards.

Designed a mental health intervention to be implemented across schools in India, in ten weeks, in order to destigmatize mental health and empower students to have conversations regarding the same.Conducted meetings with a variety of stakeholders as a part of an interdisciplinary team, despite the challenges associated with working virtually during a pandemic.
