I work as an intern under the career advisors at the Center for Career & Professional Development at Roger Williams University. I work with students to review resumes and online branding ahead of career networking events, work career events such as career fairs and company interest events, and help students explore specific companies and employers to network. This position is an opportunity to gain experience in the fields of industrial/organizational psychology, human resources, and career services.

I manage the front desk of the Center for Career and Professional Development at Roger Williams University. I manage office email and telephone inboxes by answering questions and forwarding messages. I assist is welcoming center visitors and providing career and internship-related information to students and alumni. I use the platform Handshake to assist students and alumni in finding career services and to sign up for events and meetings with Career Advisors. I assist Career Advisors with events such as Career Fairs and Headshot Days.

I work as an intern under the career advisors at the Center for Career & Professional Development at Roger Williams University. I work with both students and career advisors to review resumes and cover letters, work career events such as Career Fairs and Company Interest Events, and coordinate data collection and analysis of career center opportunities. This position is an opportunity to gain experience in the fields of industrial/organizational psychology and career services.

I manage and build rapport with around 25 residents, as well as work with a team of 10-15 other RAs. I am on call on certain nights of the semester in case of an emergency or other housing-related incident, and write incident reports when needed. I ensure that my residents feel safe and comfortable in the residential hall, and I am a resource, conflict-manager, and advocate for them on campus if they need it.

Each June, I am an Orientation Advisor for 4 groups of 15-25 new students coming to Roger Williams! I co-lead our group with another OA to ensure that students feel comfortable coming to campus in the Fall. I give campus tours, connect new students to faculty members, and build rapport with the new students. I am also there as support to help alleviate any fears or anxieties for both students and family members that may come with leaving home to begin college.

I create sale and inventory promotion media through Adobe Express and Canva. I post and promote these designs on the business' Instagram and Facebook. I oversee account statistics and brainstorm ways to increase content engagement.

I work as a Physical Therapist Aide with a team of 6-7 additional Aides and 5-6 Physical Therapists. I assist the Physical Therapists in patient care for up to 30 patients a day through assigning and implementing physical therapy exercise plans, performing ultrasounds, and providing patients with Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation therapy (TENS) and Iontophoresis patches. I converse with patients and engage in general patient hospitality to ensure quality care.

I am a server and team leader at a Victorian-style teahouse banquet venue. I assist in setting up for, catering, and serving up to 75 guests of weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, and other events. I problem-solve event-related issues and staff-conflicts, and accommodate the specific needs and requests of banquet hosts and guests in a timely manner. I am directly responsible for coordinating and directing the banquet serving team of 3-8 servers, which includes training new employees in the banquet set-up, breakdown, and serving processes.
