We are independent adjusters that facilitate the claims process between the insurance company and the insured / claimant.We investigate claims to ensure they are not fraudulent in nature. We travel to the site where the claim is made and review the damage and records of loss, photograph the damage if possible or document the validity of the claim. We will then calculate the compensation owed to the claimant. We are the main insurance company contact for insureds / claimants, and we must file and process claims in a timely manner in accordance with insurance good faith laws.

While working at Edward Jones, my responsibilities were three fold. First, we would scan the applications to find the best possible candidate based upon a scoring guide. Then, once selected to move forward, I the recruiter, would take them through a phone screening process to validate all of the information on the application. Questions pertaining to why they want to become a financial advisor followed the phone screen. If they were chosen to move forward, I would then coordinate a branch visit with a local financial advisor to allow the candidate to gain more of an understanding on what the position entails.If the financial advisor thought that the candidate possessed a good understanding of the position, I would then talk to them once more to judge whether they would like to move forward as well as ask them some questions from the branch visit. During this 2nd phone call, their answers were scored based on their understanding. If the candidate scored above a certain number, they were then moved on to a hiring specialist for a phone interview.
