Responsible for managing and directing the movement of Marine Corps personnel and equipment to and from Southwest Asia, and the Middle East. Provide subject matter expert solution to transportation related challenges to deliver combat equipment and personnel supporting major combat operations. Conduct thorough air terminal and sea terminal analysis that support the reception, staging, throughput, and cargo handling of marine equipment in US partner nations in the middle east. Conduct cost benefit analysis (CBA) for various shipping modes to determine efficiency and cost gains/saving/avoidance to deploy equipment and personnel any location globally.Develops transportation movement plans for multi-modal transportation.

Executive level staff member providing ship loading subject matter expertise, strategic planning consultation in the execution of real world contingencies and Military Exercises, both kinetic and synthetic. Monitoring Marine Corps interests aboard amphibious naval ships with respect to modification and upgrades to enhance war fighting capabilities. Review naval vessel loading characteristic publications to ensure information accuracy. Provides mentorship and guidance to subordinate teams and counterparts in the conduct of amphibious operations. Cross functional team member for short term and long term projects. Aided in policy development and implementation. Served as a SME to conduct evaluation of operational impacts in the design of LX-R ship building program.Coordinate with port operations to deconfliction ship schedule and find efficiencies that support Marine Corps equities.

Develop and supervise the execution of operational level movement planning function across all modes of transportation with an emphasis of amphibious operations. Utilizing project management principles, establish ship embarkation and debarkation guidance and milestones to meet cargo movement dates, ship loading and offload dates for personnel and freight (breakbulk, oversize and outsized). Develop training curricula to assist in establishing a baseline functional experience for individuals working in my team that were responsible for vessel cargo and personnel loading/offloading requirements in a time-condensed environment. Conduct quality assurance of database management and ensure mission essential equipment are accommodated on specific naval ship classes designed to move military equipment and personnel, while taking into consideration the ship's limitations. Integrate with unit's operations departments and provide subject matter expertise on amphibious ship functions as it relates to naval command organizational structure, dynamic aboard naval ships, and expectation management when conducting business with the crew.

Department Head leading detailed planning efforts for rapid offload of combat equipment and personnel.Supervises the execution of loading and unloading personnel and equipment under condensed timelines while using amphibious conveyance. Function as a liaison between Ship's Crew and Marines during unit deployments at sea. Conduct training and inspection of embarked cargo hazmat and reconfiguring while at sea for maintenance support. Lead and train a team of 33 personnel to synchronize efforts to ensure efficiency, safety and speed of moving equipment in a confined space.Develop required monthly reports for wartime reserves materials. During ship's maintenance periods conduct facility management and develop plans of action and milestones to update ship policies regarding embarkation order repair parts to support the repair. Lead planner in ensure the ship fulfills its customs and border clearance requirement before return back to US soil.

Department Head during ship's construction phase with the specific function of advocating and ensuring ship compartment designated for Embark Troops were built per the contract, while also identifying shortfalls to higher echelon of command both on the Navy and Marine Corps (NAVSEA and HQMC). Developed embarkation policies relevant to the ship's operating environment, while also identifying quality of life improvements for space designated for embarked troops.

Manager of Transportation Operations. Major role in developing and enhancing standard operating procedures to increase the velocity of requisition fulfillment of outsized and oversized equipment using multimodal conveyances. Interation with MEARSK out of Wando Terminal in Charleston to take advantage of routine sealift routes of containerized shipments in addition to the existing use of American Roll-On/Roll-Off Carrier while enhancing in-transit visibility. Instrumental in the schedule movement of MATV shipments utilizing Commercial Aircraft out of Charleston AFB. Improved business process and relationship with Transportation Support Agency in Charleston and helped in the placement a Marine Corps Distribution Process Advocates to assist in distribution process improvement and problem mitigation. Lead Mobility Planner providing input for war time transportation planning, concerns, decision points and provided solutions while ensuring expectation management.

Quality Assurance manager for charter airlift service requests for freight and passengers to support security cooperation efforts with US partner countries within the Pacific. Budget manager for transpacific flights to /from the US and Japan. Strategic Transportation Planner for larger scale movement that involve throughput analysis, capacity of the distribution chain, and reception and integration efforts of US forces with military equipment. Managed a $13.2 million dollar airlift transportation budget.

Strategic Airlift planning, quality assurance and metrics cataloging. Budget management and liaison between subordinate units and transportation provider. Perform satellite air cargo planning and preparation efforts for units requiring assistance. Develop and execute training and information aids to help in technology transition gaps in order to maintain unit level expectations and performance.
