Responsible for establishing GNA, a 100% Prumo Subsidiary (+70% owned by EIG fund). Created and successfully developed the biggest gas and electricity Hub in Latin America, consisting of c.3000 MW of gas fired power plant and an LNG regas terminal. The power is 100% sold through PPAs to the Brazilian electricity distribution companies. The project was consolidated by attracting as partners BP and Siemens. Total investment of up to US2bn.

Partner and Founder of Nova Petroleo SA Exploration and Production. Created for acquiring and revitalizing onshore mature fields from Petrobras. The companies successfully acquired low price assets, in the onshore Reconcavo basin producing 50bbl/d, invested US 200,000, reduced opex and increased its production up to 620 bbl/d in one year. Additonaly, acquired 7 exploration blocks 50/50 with Petrobras in the Sergipe Alagoas basin. Sold Novapetroleo shares to investors in mid 2015.

Responsible for acquiring the pre-salt blocks from BG in the Santos Basin. After first discovery, led the day to day negotiations and activities in the partnership with Petrobras, Repsol and Galp growing BG Brazil to be the crown jewel of BG Group.

Director Origination and Trading. Responsible for installing the first 380 MW gas fired merchant Plant in Brazil. Responsible for a large trading transaction in partnership with Petrobras for gas and power.
