Ltd., a port operator company located in the port of Tema, in Ghana, West Africa, nominated by Ghana Port and Harbour Authority to manage and administrate the terminal areas for general cargoes, solid bulk cargoes and vehicles, for the ports of Tema and Takoradi.

Operations Manager for the International Multipurpose Marine Terminal of Esmeraldas, in Ecuador, privately operated by Consortium Puerto Nuevo Milenium S.A., an ecuadorian port operator company. In this position, I was responsible in full of the organization of the traffic of vessels approaching the port (Harbour master), and in general, of all vessels operations, storage activities and delivery/reception of general cargoes, containers, solid bulk cargoes and ro-ro vessels.Also in charge of management of M&R of all port cargo handling equipment, and as support of the port safety and security team.

Founder and manager of the port operator company Operadora del Pacífico S.A., a company specially created to provide logistic support to the shipping agency Maersk del Ecuador C.A., for services related with stevedoring activities for all Maersk vessels in Ecuador, as well as for the storage and technical / structural repairs of empty containers for the line, and also for third party customers.This position included the opening and organization of two off dock depots for container storage, as well as the temporary management (for two years) of the trucking company Pacific Container Transport S.A., another Maersk affiliated company, in charge to provide transport services for customers of several containers lines, with national coverage.

General Operations Manager for the shipping agency Maersk del Ecuador C.A., an ecuadorian company owned by A.P.Moller group, in charge to provide all commercial, operational and logistic support to Maersk Line vessels calling the ecuadorian ports of Manta and Guayaquil.Responsible for the general coordination of the vessels operations in both ports, and also for the management of the shipping agency of Maersk Ecuador in the city of Manta.Directly in charge of tariff negotiations with stevedores and other vendors related with container activity in the country. Also responsible of the good relationships between Maersk agency and all local maritime authorities controlling the shipping business in the country.

Sailing as Master for the shipping line Ecuadorian Line, servicing on board the following vessels:- Coral Sea, refrigerated cargo vessel, 11,200 GRT- Arctic Ocean, multipurpose cargo vessel, 10,829 GRT- Ciudad de Manta, multipurpose vessel, 11,900 GRT- Bonita, refrigerated cargo vessel, 9,867 GRTMain trade of these vessels included ports located in north Europe, English channel, Mediterranean ports, British ports of London and Liverpool, east coast of United States and Gulf of Mexico, and west coast of South America.

Sailing 5 years as third and second deck officer, and almost 10 years as Chief Mate, on board conventional cargo vessels, refrigerated cargo vessels and multipurposes (general and bulk) cargo vessels, in miscellaneous trading waters, that included ports of west coast of South America, the gulf of Mexico and east coast of United States, Mediterranean ports, English channel, north of Spain, north Europe, north of Africa and New Zealand ports.
