• Developed a web application using ASNA’s AVR RPG ILE and DB2 Embedded SQL. By using AVR, the customer replaced a very old, green-screen Inventory application with a web-based, .NET application while still maintaining the original AS/400 DB2 database.• Developed a mobile web application using ASNA’s MobileRPG WingsEXT DB2 Embedded SQL and RPGILE, improving the productivity of Sales Reps and providing Management a real-time perspective of the product distribution.• Led a team to develop a new menu system using ASP.NET, ASNA’s Wings, DB2 Embedded SQL, and RPGILE. The legacy System36 Menu System had to be replaced for compatibility issues with the current AS/400 Operating System. With this new implementation, it was much easier to enhance and maintain.• Provided SQL Consulting to a customer to submit key Inventory data to Management. By writing a series of complex SQL scripts, it helped to save a lot of work to the customer’s development team.

• Developed ASP.NET web application enhancements for Ika Systems' Health Insurance Application for Medicare and Medicaid. This allowed the software company to provide a solution for customer enrollment before the enrollment period in December each year.

• Led a team to enhance the Credit System running in a Unisys mainframe for Ford Credit in Mexico. Helped to implement this same Credit System in other countries like Brazil and Argentina, which required to adjust the number of digits of all the currency fields across the entire system.• Co-developed a suite of software tools to analyze and optimize hierarchical and relational databases, helping customers ZORGVERZEKERAAR DSW and Banco de Reservas de Republica Dominicana to save millions of dollars in costly Unisys hardware upgrades.

• Participated in a large RPG/CL/DB2 migration from IBM I to the .NET/SQL Server platforms for a financial customer, helping to replace the AS/400 machine with a Windows server.

Mexico City, Mexico

• Led a COBOL and LINC 4GL migration from Unisys mainframe to XGEN and Microfocus COBOL in UNIX for Banco del Atlantico, 3rd largest Bank in Mexico. Made an alliance with HP for us to provide the software solution, and HP to provide the hardware to replace the Unisys mainframe. According to the Bank, this project helped them to save around $7M in Unisys mainframe hardware upgrades, plus the huge increase of productivity for both the Bank’s customers and staff, as well as the IT development team.
