About Ricardo Lopes

I’m Ricardo Leme Lopes, ECD/Head of Art at Ogilvy Brazil since 2019. I’m responsible for establishing the standards of Art Direction and Design of the agency and lead the Creative team to achieve it. Before Ogilvy, I was the Executive Creative Director of Geometry Rio and prior to that, Associate Creative Director of Ogilvy NY and ACD/ Head of Design at Momentum NY. My journey started in Rio, where I had my design studio and worked mainly with visual identity and packaging, then continued in NY, working in advertising, brand experience, branding, design, branded content, digital, and shopper marketing. This diversity of experiences allowed me to build a unique set of skills and to create work with a strong visual resonance that connects brands with people in many different ways.During my career, my work has been honored with numerous awards including Cannes Lions, One Show, Clios, D&AD, Effies, and even a Guinness World Record. In 2017 I was named Promo & Activation Professional of the Year by Colunistas Award in Brazil.
