I was responsible of the cost reduction on productive and Non productive materials for the Plant, through negotiations, supplier sourcings / de sourcings, and technical productivities. Budget creation and target definitions by periods. Follow up to task accomplishment of the purchasing team through weekly/monthly revisions. Planning, creation and deployment of purchasing strategies, supplier panel optimization and development. In coordination with the corporate offices at Laverriere, Fr. Plant transfer from Rochester NY to SLP and during 2009 from SLP to Juarez Mexico, reporting to division organization; Managing between 28 (2005), 23 (end of 2006), 17 (2007), 10 (2008) and forecast of 5 people for 2009; which included, project buyers, commodity buyers, supplier quality engineers, receiving & inspection technicians. Commodities purchased: electronic cards, brush cards, motor shafts, wire, aluminum and zinc castings, stampings, plastics and rubber. Quality goal was to change the organization to make it dynamic and to reduce quality problems through the adoption of the quality system of the company with vendors, and to increase the reactivity with suppliers answering quality problems and charging back the costs of non quality (2005 achieved 85% 2006 achieved 100% up to November). Quality Incidents reduction from 31, 2007 to 11 in 2008 and 4 up to Feb.2009.Launched 9 projects up into 2006 and 7 in 2007 all launched projects with LCC cost of 88.34%. In regards to the overall LCC purchase turnover the results were; 76% in 2005, 56% in 2006 and potential to 79% in 2007, directed project buyers responsible to establish component costs and supply management for new projects. I was responsible to Integrate formal sourcing process to meet low cost country initiatives in Mexico and China. Developed and implemented strategies to increase the LCC purchasing percentage mainly in China. Visiting and negotiating QCD contracts with Chinese suppliers.

Responsible of the proper customer PO´s and EDI releases of OEM's, Spare parts and Tier N´s integration into SAP systems; external warehouse control; Inventories; document preparation for daily shipments; export freight indicator control and Customer delivery performance tracking and reporting. Supplier release sending through SAP and critical items follow up, Indicators Import freights, Inventory turnovers, ABC stock by disponent and inventory turns.
