I am a recent international affairs graduate from James Madison University. My studies have granted me extensive knowledge in global politics, history, imperialism, and colonialism, specifically in the Middle East, Latin America, and Caribbean regions.I use the knowledge gained from academia to research deeper and write stories of how various global events affect societies domestically and abroad. Because of this, I have acquired both a passion and skillset for journalistic writing, communication, and the media arts. I also possess additional skills in photography, basic videography, graphic design, and creative writing.Because of my multicultural background, I understand Latin-American and Caribbean culture and have fluency in the Spanish language. I have also studied Italian for over five years and reached an advanced proficiency level.
