Driving digital transformation and M&A integration

As Chief Information Officer of a $1B software company, provided strategic vision and leadership across the Organization regarding the development and implementation of numerous business and technology initiatives. Collaborated with business leaders and stakeholders to define and prioritize business objectives, develop roadmaps, and align IT resources, while overseeing the execution of many digital transformation programs and projects. Provided frequent IT roadmap updates and directional guidance to senior leadership team, board of directors and other stakeholders.

As Senior Director, worked directly with the Company’s senior leadership team to achieve alignment across the Organization’s business processes and systems. Managed numerous strategic projects and business process improvement initiatives as the Company grew via new product introductions and acquisition.Initially hired by the Chief Financial Officer to transform the Organization’s struggling Business Applications group into a respected business partner capable of delivering value added solutions to the Organization. Responsible for leading project-based initiatives and sustaining support functions for the Company’s business systems, including driving the Organization’s cloud migration strategy which resulted in implementing or replatforming many on-premises applications to cloud-based solutions.Successfully built a strong Business Applications team comprised of both functional subject matter experts and technical development resources, outsourcing various functions within the group to third-party partners.Responsible for IT M&A program management including due diligence on potential acquisition targets and integration of acquired companies’ business processes and systems.

Successfully managed many projects across the organization, including the implementation of the Company’s ERP solution (Oracle E-Business Suite). Success was achieved by working extensively with management, end users, technical development team, database administrators, and other key stakeholders during every phase of the implementation to ensure on-time delivery and quality work products across the entire Oracle applications suite. This system implementation was a critical milestone in establishing the information systems infrastructure for this newly publicly traded company during a period of hyper-growth.

As part of the Company’s Oracle Enterprise Solutions practice, responsible for developing and deploying enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for a broad range of clients including high-tech, bio-tech, and government organizations.
