I am an experienced Business Analyst in the Financial Sector.  I have worked for Insurance Companies within their IT and Finance departments and have delivered a number of major projects with highlights being GL migrations, IFRS17 requirements gathering, Solvency 2 reporting and policy administration system implementations. Prior to being a Business Analyst I was a Reporting Accountant and Company Accountant where I built up a wealth of Accounting knowledge. I have worked through a number of merger and acquisitions and pride myself on how I have been able to adapt to different stakeholders and methodologies. I am comfortable with both Waterfall and Agile deliveries and take a pragmatic approach to delivery.  I have great communication skills at all levels and build strong relationships with Stakeholders that allow me to deliver to a high quality.. I use all Microsoft applications including Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint along with other project applications and General Ledgers including SAP and Oracle. In my last role at Aviva I led the Business Analysis practice and encouraged the community and concentrated on recruitment,  development, assignments and communications. I was proud to lead the practice and had excellent feedback from all levels. My roles have meant I have had Team Management responsibilities for both internal and external and led workstreams within Projects.I took the opportunity to take redundancy from Aviva and after taking some time out to assess what is important to me. I have just finished a contract role at Lloyds Banking Group on their Finance Transformation programme. A great bunch of people to work with and wish them well as I put me feet up and start my next venture into retirement.
