I'm the Engineering Manager for MC2, Inc., a facility automation contractor in Central Florida. I manage both the engineering group and the programming/graphical development team, focusing on efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. I serve as leader and technical expert, and enjoy training and mentoring those new to the field. I've managed programming on over $5M in controls projects, including two $1M+ projects in the past year, using Agile management techniques. I develop new processes and standards to increase our software engineering efficiency. Projects have ranged from major hospitals and corporate headquarters to schools and churches. In previous roles at MC2 I've worked as both an engineer and a field technician, so I'm very familiar with the entire process from start to finish. I have experience with government, large hospitals, office buildings, schools, and everything in between. I know what works and what doesn't, ways to do a project right and even more ways it can be done wrong! Customers include NASA, Florida Institute of Technology, Orange County Schools, AAA, Villages Regional Hospital, and many more.I have a BS in Physics from the University of Delaware and a minor in Computer Science. I'm always interested in hearing from colleagues, building automation professionals, and anyone interested in programming, leadership, or management, so feel free to contact me!
