I’ve always had a keen sense of appreciation for business owners. From a young age, I had a front row seat to the daily grind of running a business. My dad was a consummate entrepreneur, with a breadth of ventures ranging from a trailer repair business to a restaurant. His example allowed me to understand the ebbs, flows, rewards, and challenges business owners face. These experiences, along with my love of finance, shaped my career trajectory. After graduating with a degree in business, I started as an analyst, supporting hundreds of registered investment advisors in daily trading activities. Since then, I have earned an MBA with a focus in finance and taken on significant leadership roles within a corporate finance context. Northwestern Mutual had a strong reputation that preceded it, so when an opportunity opened to work within the firm’s Private Debt and Equity portfolio, I said “yes.” My admiration of the company and its advisors has only grown during this time. Now, after more than a decade of experience at Northwestern Mutual, I’m excited to be working in the field with many of the financial advisors who make this company the envy of the industry.
