BAE Systems is UK Sport's Official Research & Innovation Partner, and we help enable British athletes to achieve sporting excellence. I worked closely with the Commercial team at UK Sport to direct the partnership strategy. This has always been a voluntary addition to my "day job" and has allowed me to display my passion for sport, grow my understanding of the elite sport systems in the UK and to collaborate with elite GB coaches and athletes across multiple sports. Responsible for heading up a network of Global Brand Champions and UK creative agencies for the purpose of providing expert brand knowledge; sharing best-practice; and linking client and agencies together for the creation of new, rich content and advertising aligned with key strategic priorities.Co-developed the company’s brand refresh in 2015/2016 and delivered progress presentations to Head Office stakeholder groups and senior leadership. Lead the working group to define the brand guidelines for Global Exhibitions and Events.Executed a creative agency re-tender. Authored RFI and RFP documents; led downselect and panel presentation process. Collaborated with a partner creative agency to deliver company brand training to nine successful agencies and company Brand Champions at live workshops.Created and curated the company repository for best-practice examples of branding for multiple internal and external channels - both print and environmental. This centre-of-excellence promoted sharing of content within the company’s communications community and partner agencies; avoided duplication; allowed for content re-purposing; and ensured company-wide consistency in brand delivery.Project managed delivery of the CEO Conference events in both the US and UK.
