This reorganization centralized most functions while maintaining deep ties with various store leaders; this improved Revenue, Gross Margin, inventory availability, clearance/waste, and customer experience.◾️ PRE-IMPLEMENTATION: Retail and/or Distribution owned decisions regarding assortment, inventory levels, purchasing, and allocations. Store-level allocations were not optimal and did not reflect the local consumer. ◾️ POST-IMPLEMENTATION: Centralized operations have improved financial performance, customer experience, relationships with vendors and retail leaders, and, after sweeping changes, we’ve tackled these ‘growing pains’ with resilience and adaptability. □ Improved Retails Gross Margins by 780bp (58.7 % vs 50.9%, QoQ) □ Improved Sales Units Velocity by 7.9% (973k units vs 902k units, QoQ)◾️ Overhauled the company’s promotional planning and implementation process, ultimately delivering significant improvements to Gross Margin, inventory health, and the flow of our seasonal assortment.
