I’ve been in the insurance industry for 35 years. The first 20 years I was at Prudential Insurance, beginning as an underwriter and ultimately transitioning to VP of Relationship Management in the Life Brokerage Department. After studying criminal justice in undergrad, I learned that it is an excellent background for property and casualty underwriting. I enjoy working with clients and businesses, contributing to what I consider a social service to the general public, #insurance. This industry helps people maintain their lifestyle and supports their peace of mind.Participating in the expansion of life insurance in the banking/wirehouse environment is something I’m particularly proud of. Recent e-capabilities — which are continuously expanding — are one the best examples of innovation that we’ve seen in insurance in the last 40 years.
