I focus my practice on appellate matters and have represented a variety of clients in appeals before Texas courts of appeal, the Texas Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. I provide trial support, including preparing dispositive motions, the jury charge, and post-trial motions. I also assists clients in evaluating potential appellate issues. Additionally, I maintain a trial docket focused on commercial disputes (including securities class actions). I also represent both landowners and condemning authorities in eminent domain cases.I am Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and am active in appellate organizations. I am a member of the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee. I am a past chair of the Dallas Bar Association Appellate Section. I am serving as Vice-President of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society.
