I am an IT professional with over 17 years experience in both the public and private sector who has provided Support for Servers, Applications, Desktop Users, and Networks, and can understand and resolve complex technical issues.I have a wealth of experience supporting, monitoring, and responding to issues in Microsoft Server operating systems, server and storage hardware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Active Directory, Desktop operating systems, Office 365 and other desktop applications, data backup software including Acronis and Veeam, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting and resolving server, network and service related issues, faults, and outages. I have experience of being involved in projects implementing changes to ICT infrastructure, upgrading servers and IT systems to meet strategic goals and making sure this is done in a timely manner, meeting quality standards, timescales, and budget requirements.I understand the importance of data security and have supported and implemented changes to systems to continually improve this security, always making sure that solutions are fully tested and comply with security, confidentiality, and industry standards. Having worked in education, and especially Special Education, I am extremely mindful of data security when dealing with children and young people’s information and additional risks that come with working with vulnerable people and their data as well.I am highly experienced in communicating with stakeholders at all levels and providing excellent communication that is tailored to different technical abilities of those groups.
