I am working as Project Coordinator for project QUEST, a project running for providing quality education to the slum children of Udaipur.. This project is being financially supported by Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. Under this project we are working with 57 govt. and private schools of Udaipur in classroom transformation by a material based interaction with the teachers. Material here refers to worksheets of different subjects and levels. As a coordinator my responsibilities include planning the strategies, overseeing the implementation, plan for capacity building of the field staff, interact with government officials, budgeting and reporting. Time and again I also work on development of textbooks, workbooks and teacher's handbooks. Workbooks for haryana- contributed in Hindi, Mathematics and EnglishContributed in recently published English textbook for JharkhandContributed in the source book on assessment for primary classes (Mathematics), NCERTTeachers handbook for teaching Science (class VI &VII), NCERTWorked as Research Associate in a study done for Room to Read, Children's Literature: Understanding Children's Perspectives. As a Research Associate, I was involved in the design of tools, data collection in the field, consolidation of data, document preparation and sharing.
