With a stint of nine years with Miracle Foundation India, Richa leads the Strategy & Technical Expertise team at Miracle Foundation India. She is responsible to steer the strategic direction, focus, design for new programs as well as the ongoing programs guided through the technical domains of Family Strengthening, Family-based Alternative Care, Youth Program, Content Development, Thrive Scale Application Technology. She has contributed towards evidence generation through research publications and thought leadership of the organization in the sphere of family-based alternative care. An M.Phil in Planning & Development from IIT Bombay, and an Atlas Corps Fellow from the Grameen Foundation in Washington, DC, Richa has been in the development sector for the past 18 years and has extensive research experience. Richa has been actively involved in carrying out research projects, publications, due diligence, needs assessments, evaluation and impact assessments with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), NIIT Foundation, Delhi School of Social Work and others. She has worked as visiting faculty with Business Schools in Delhi NCR and a Master Trainer with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility.

July 2004 – May 2010: worked as Deputy Director (Programmes) with the Business & Community Foundation (BCF), New Delhi. BCF is a nonprofit organization, one of the pioneers in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility at national level in India.• . The work entailed:o Facilitating the Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives of companies ranging from CSR policy formulation, overall due diligence, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the CSR projects.o Conducting CSR Award (FICCI CSR Award) Assessment, preparation of CSR Trainings / Courses / Management Development Programme etc.o Organization of CSR Roundtable discussions.o Preparation and presentation of business cases on bringing various issues of societal concern centrestage within the realm of CSR. o Organization of the Disability Initiative, Abilities Mela: linking people with disability to markets & livelihood opportunities.o Website maintenance, documentation and preparation of Annual Reports, Newsletters.

• Atlas Corps Fellow 2008-09: as part of the one year Fellowship, worked with Grameen Foundation, Washington DC, USA. The Fellowship stint was about helping to set up the Bankers without Borders (BwB) programme in the organization. Bankers without Borders is Grameen Foundation’s volunteer program that connects individuals and companies with opportunities to mobilize their skill sets and use their industry expertise to offer Grameen Foundation innovative solutions to help break the cycle of poverty. It is a global reserve corps of business professionals from a variety of fields – from finance and technology to human resources and marketing. These professionals volunteer their time, knowledge, and experience to support microfinance and technology developments many areas where GF works around the world.
