Have worked with the Era Group for the last 23 years, focussing totally on the Packaging category. Working across the UK and Ireland, I offer specialist procurement advice and sustainable, long term cost saving solutions to medium and large enterprises in all market sectors. Am vastly experienced in both Secondary and Primary fields and benefits can be achieved by more effective procurement including process and design, improved supplier management and smarter spending habits.

ECB Qualified Level 2 Coach and Volunteer Cricket Coach at Exhall and Wixford CC (Warwickshire).Coached for two weeks with the Charity Cricket Without Boundaries in Botswana in 2012, delivering Aids awareness messages through Cricket and supporting the Botswana Cricket Board with the development of the game within Schools and teaching Teachers to Coach. Injury prevented me returning to Africa in 2024, but reviewing for 2025.2000-2001 worked with Stratford upon Avon District Councils Sports Development Team delivering after school sports programmes. Predominantly cricket, but also delivered Basketball and Multi Sport sessions.

Purchasing Manager and a member of the Divisions General Management Commitee responsible for its strategic direction and growth. Consolidated the supply chain, negotiated new supply arrangements with providers on a pan European basis, focusing heavily on flexible films, tapes, graphical board and cushioning materials for re sale in the UK market.In 1997 I headed up the New Market Development team, predominantly made up of specialist industry specific internal and external sales personnel, whose brief was to grow business into both new and existing blue chip accounts. Exceeded all targets before leaving to set up my own business in 2000.

A member of the Group Purchasing team which was responsible for all capital expenditure. My initial role was that of Services Buyer, but later transferred to the packaging team which was responsible for the purchase of £14 million of primary packaging materials for Consumer and Own Label Toilet Tissue, Facial Tissue and Kitchen Towel product. Premier brands included Andrex, Scotties, Fiesta and Handy Andies. Own label materials were also supplied to all major supermarket chains. Additionally we oversaw supply contracts for corrugate, labels, shrink films and machine stretch film.The role required daily liaison with production, marketing, planning and technical support.
