Over a period of five years, I have led new Business Development in addition to managing our most Strategic Accounts and Channels. These activities have ensured the very best relationship with these top accounts and have led to successful, scalable business in the Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things. I have personally led to the growth of the company from a start-up of ten employees to its current size of fifty employees and transformed the client base and major sales channels, leading to very substantial revenue growth.Arkessa is a world leader in the fields of Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT). The company operates a dedicated mobile network for M2M providing both managed connectivity as well as advanced M2M / IoT management facilities. I have also led the company into new growth business areas providing a full solution in key areas such as ADSL/MPLS Backup Services and Mobile Broadband (including bonded and load balanced solutions). We are specialist providers of both low data worldwide as well as high data solutions across many parts of the globe.Every year Arkessa is recognised as a world leader in it field including- As one of only five Cool Vendors in IoT globally by Gartner - As one of EMEA's fastest growing companies by Deloitte- In the Managed M2M Magic Quadrant by Gartner (2014, 2015, 2016)- As "One to watch" at IoT Forum

Reporting directly to the CEO, I was responsible for all international business outside of South Africa and led to substantial new partnerships that in turn delivered the first international business for the company. Over a period of two years, the revenue from this business enabled further investment into core products and solutions and moved the company into highly successful new areas such as a mobile banking application platforms.

Stratus Telecom is a major provider of VoIP solutions and convergence technologies such as our ISSG (Signalling Gateway) that enable VoIP and Circuit switched networks (fixed and mobile) to provide integrated services to end users. Stratus Telecom is a wholly owned subsidiary of YMAX Corp. a US based VoIP operator.My work directly led to new business in the supply of VoIP networks with Telia Sonera (Denmark) as well as the Phone House Group (Spain) and TPSA Poland.

I was solely responsible for all Telecom business in EMEA, each year growing the business with new major accounts (Tier 1 and 2 telecommunication operators (Fixed line, Mobile and VoIP networks)) such as Orange, KPN, Vodafone, Telia Sonera etc.

Responsible for all Marketing activities and leading business development as part of the strategic direction of the company into new solution development and success.
